Annoyed by your outdated and problematical multi-function navigator? Need something new that is easier to handle and contains all the functionality you require? Then you’re in luck, because the Raymarine C120 has exactly the type of features that you’re looking for.

The Raymarine C120 has the largest screen size of all the C-Series models, 12.1”, which makes it the perfect display to use if you have a large cockpit and need to see it easily from afar. Its 800 x 600 (SVGA) high resolution makes it one of the most accurate and precise marine navigators to date. Everything on the display can still be easily seen in crisp detail during storms, rain, or fog. It’s also waterproof (CFR46), and has a direct sunlight viewable screen, so there won’t be any glare even when the sun is shining its brightest. The C120 includes a convenient mounting bracket, as well as a low-profile flush mounting kit, which makes for a clean and unobtrusive helm.

A feature that the C120 retains that is common to most of chartplotters from the Raymarine C series, of course, the ability to configure any display to act as a single function stand-alone chartplotter, digital fishfinder, or radar. You can succeed in doing this by attaching the device into the display. An quick example of this: by simply attaching an optional Raystar GPS Sensor to the display and selecting Navionics charts, the display will be turned into a well-defined GPS chartplotter. To make use of special HD Digital technology to scan the sea bottom, you can connect an optional Raymarine Sounder Module into the display to convert it into a super fishfinder. Similarly, by connecting an optional radome or open-array antenna, you can transform the display into a powerful radar system that is capable of tracking and monitoring your location and every move. These options and functions for the C120 are certainly ones that you’ll want to benefit from.

The C-Series also has another new feature that you will probably find extremely useful as well. This is the Weather and Satellite Radio, which will give you access to the latest graphical weather forecasts and SIRIUS satellite radio. If you’re a fisherman, you will be able to receive up-to-date Satellite Sea Surface Temperature observations, which will give you a huge tactical advantage over your competitors. You can always be aware of hazardous weather coming your way with convenient marine box warnings, and utilizing a context-sensitive cursor will uncover weather data wherever you click. It’s a cinch. It has 130 various channels, and your display has radio tuner controls for easy tuning. Simply connect the Raymarine SR50 weather receiver to the display and you’re ready to go.

The Raymarine C120 gps chartplotters additionally have the capability to handle engine and instrument data integration. With support for SeaTalk, SeaTalk NG (next generation), NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and J1939, it’s in the center point for all of your vessel's navigation, instrument, and engine data. What this means essentially, is that now you can control your Raymarine SeaTalk compatible autopilot right from your C-Series display, and also monitor critical engine functions like RPM, oil pressure, fuel level and flow rate, coolant temperature, trim tabs and engine tilt, generator electrical data and more using NMEA2000 or J1939. Additionally, you can repeat information from your connected instruments, autopilot, GPS, weather instruments and more.

Using the Raymarine C120 is a cinch, thanks to a highly intuitive display. You can easily create custom windows that contain different functions, and then “Page” through them to switch to one or the other. The Twist N’ Click™ Rotary control also provides easy alphanumeric waypoint storage. The Raymarine C120 kit contains the guides and equipment that you’ll need to setup the display. Once you do, you’ll find that it was more than worth the effort spent. The Raymarine C120 is the multi-functional chartplotter that is absolutely vital to your travels.

What is the difference between power tilt and power trim on a boat?

I believe tilt just moves it from transport to water position and trim moves it slightly while in the "water" position, but I'm not totally sure.

You are correct in what T and T means. Trim tabs are the flat plates that can tilt the boat from side to side or push the bow down.

Lexus RX 400h Hybrid Exterior and Interior Overview

When looking at the exterior of the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid, most people see a middle sized hybrid version of the popular RX 350 SUV. Of course this makes sense because it basically is the RX 350 SUV with a different engine. What you find on the outside of the 350 you find on the Lexus RX 400h Hybrid. The Lexus RX 400h Hybrid is just more fuel-efficient with its dual electric motors in addition to the gasoline one.

Both vehicles are elegantly styled, and share the same dimensions. There are a couple of differences, like the front grills and round fog lights. The tail lights are different, and the outside paint job comes in a larger variety of colors which are brushed and includes aluminum interior accents instead of the wood trim that is reminiscent of the regular SUV version. The 2006 was noticeably different in that it had wood trim that was called Bird's Eye Maple.

As mentioned before, the 2008 edition includes changes to the exterior such as chrome door handles, revised front grille, and rear spoiler. And don't forget the new 18 inch wheels. Is it enough to attract new customers? Yup. This vehicle is sleek, aerodynamic with a raked windshield and sloping roofline. The whole vehicle has been put together seamlessly and it's assuredly one of the best assembly jobs Toyota has done in a long time.

People who like the outside will love the inside and it's pretty natural to expect only top quality in the cabin. It's spacious and the buyers love it. The cabin can seat five and looks entirely different from the standard RX 350. It makes a statement, claiming its own identity in the SUV world. The driver's and passenger's front seats are well-padded - cushy comes to mind - and everything is well in the driver's reach along the front console. The gauges are easy to read and the wood trim tops it all off. And there is a touch screen information display that gives the driver immediate access to amount of gasoline left, how much charge is in the battery, oil life, tire pressure, and more. This kind of information has become fairly standard on all SUV's, hybrids or not.

The rear seats are just as cushy with plenty of headroom and legroom for taller passengers. There is nothing worse than cracking your skull on the roof whenever you climb in and out of a vehicle. Okay, feeling like a pretzel is worse. The seats have a 40/20/40 configuration which means they can be split and fold down to increase the cargo space. The cargo space isn't the Grand Canyon, but it can hold quite a bit and with both passenger seats folded down, you get 85 cubic feet that can also be reached by the tailgate. There is no third row seat and Toyota's other popular SUV, the Highlander, is the same way. Many of the competitor's vehicles offer an optional third row seat that can be folded down to make cargo space.

The front seats are powered and can move in ten different directions. There are dual climate controls, steering wheel controls, and a six-CD changer with an eight speaker radio system. The second row seats slide and recline. Additional ala carte options include power-tilt steering, sunroof, driver seat memory, leather upholstery, back-up camera, navigations, audio package and rear-seat DVD. Just think how quiet the children will be on that long trip or how nice it will be to shuffle the CDs without having to fumble for the case.
